Spreading the ideas of others

Here's a few other ideas that I really like: Tertill - This is a solar powered weeder for the garden! Bee's Wrap - Reusable "plastic" wrap.

Finances

5/2024-As the baby boomer generation retired a few years ago (more in mass around/after the COVID pandemic), now after a few years in retirement with rising prices because of the pandemic (& inflation) they are finding themselves back at work and/or starting to stretch their pocket book thin.  Now as we're also starting to see Gen X come up to retirement age, there is going to be many more people putting pressure on the USA's health/retirement system.  I know other counties around the world are also experiencing issues of constraints of retirees/an aging population.  I think it would helpful to start other conversations on expectations on living in a houses by oneself.  Other cultures adapt and put more generations together under one roof, but this is not always feasible.  I think more need to be convinced that if they are unable to stay in their house due to rising costs, they might have to consider options of selling their house, moving to different locati...

Misc

2024 Not sure why this hasn't been created or pushed out more, but retirement registries. Sending them off or giving well wishes for the next chapter in their life.  Especially for those family members and/or friends who never got married nor had kids, but always showed up and contributed and supported others. Kraft - I think they have a missed opportunity to have vending machines around town that can make hot mac n cheese. I also think they should create restaurants or places in mall food courts/kid entertainment centers/movie theaters to serve kid comfort foods: mac n cheese with chicken nuggets, hot dogs, ketchup, etc.  Then you could have other toppings (shredded cheese, veggies).  I also think they can expand with more plant based, vegan and/or gluten free opportunities. Marcus Cinema (or movie theaters in general)- I found there is a missed opportunity for the theater. Recently, you can purchase a blanket with multiple pictures of the CEO. I think it would be bette...

Clothing

2022 Lined zip off pants (zip off into shorts and/or side zip to make it easier to get boots on/off without having to take the pants off all the way)  2019 I just bought some replacement clothes for fall and I was just amazed by the stack of temporary tags  (paper, plastic & connector ties).  Some of them were for the actual sale of item, which I get but others were just general company information or specific features of that product line.  I'm surprised with our smart technology I haven't see sewn in tags with QR codes.  Those codes could have information: Specific to that piece of clothing (type of fabric, percentages & features) Treatment care (not just the symbols that not many people actually know what they mean)  Where to buy more and other color option available (or if that piece is now discontinued other alternatives) Company information 2017 No more planned obsolescence!!!  There was a time when panty hose was much more du...

Bedding

Bedding upgrade: People always complain or make fun of couples fighting over the sheets.  Well, the first problem is that we made the mattresses deeper.  We buy sheets that are suppose to be for "deep" pockets...well the fitted sheets fit, but the top sheet hasn't gotten any wider so it can't be tucked in on the side of the bed.  Thus, fueling the fight...That all being said, my main upgrade is actually for the comforter.  What I would like to see is to have a comforter that you could "piece together".  What I mean is have different fabric and layers for each side of the bed, that could be connected together (by like a zipper or snaps) to make a full sized comforter.  So if one side of the bed would like to have a warm fuzzy down comforter and the other side of the bed would like a light blanket it could be possible.  It would also be great if you could put a top sheet over the top for decoration, and so the comforter doesn't look like a hodge podge o...

Construction

Paint markings to indicate lane lines.  It would be very helpful for colder weather areas (especially ones that get a lot of snow), if it would be easier to see the lane markings.  Over the years, there have been many testing areas to see what would work the best.  Lately, they have been milling part of the street off and adding tape markings.  There are a few problems with these, because they are inset with the road they blend in, the reflective material doesn't stay reflective very long, and/or they peel off when people drive over them.  Milder weather areas have nice reflectors that illuminate with headlights which is very helpful, but are taken out by the snow plows in snowier areas.  I think what might work, as color is being introduced more into the roadway, is to have the milled spot like what is currently being done but use a color asphalt/cement mixed a compound that could "glow"/reflect headlights to be a more permanent aid. Im excited that in la...

Recreation

2023 Rip currents - I recently saw a drone photo that showed a coast line and you could see the location of rip currents very easily, but it's very difficult on the beach and in the water. I think it would be helpful if we could mark the location on the beach and in the water, the boundary of the current. My idea would be to have a posts on the beach on each side of the current and a line out to open water. There can be floats on the lines to mark (much like in swimming pools to separate swim lanes or different ďepths). Testing in the field world be needed to see if it would be best just to gave weights/floats, or if it would be better to secure a post in the open water. As I am unsure if rip currents stay or move along the coast line. Other thought is if the line was secured, a person could possibly grab on to try and get outside the rip current boundary.                                      ...

2017 Hot fudge to-go container upgrade: I know some people enjoy the soup of what used to be ice cream (or custard) after being melted by hot fudge.  I think it would be neat to have a container on top of the container, kinda like the granola on top of the yogurt that when the time is right to mix them together.  That way, the cold stays cold and the warm doesn't make soup by the time you get to your desired location...and this would also provide less of an encouragement to eat said treat while driving! It is such a pain to pack up the fake [Christmas] trees back into their original boxes, it would be great if there was a plastic box that could latch (instead of just re-taping over old tape on the original cardboard tree boxes).  I would also be great if it could come in various sizes for the trees, but have it be just a bit wider, taller, and deeper.  What would also be great is if there could be compartments built in underneath or to one end where you could ...
